Pure Performance offers instructional clinics and camps throughout the year.

You can fine tune your softball skills all season long while working with our outstanding team of instructors and participating in our popular camp offerings.

2017 Summer Camps

Falls Church Softball Camp

The “Basics” Camp (ages 7-12)

Dates:
July 3 and 5–7

Time:
9:00 am – 3:00 pm
(before & after care provided)

This camp is held in Falls Church at George Mason High School and is run by Pure Performance on behalf of the City of Falls Church.

An age appropriate and sport specific warmup designed by certified strength and conditioning specialists is taught to all players and performed each morning. Players are divided according to age and skill level. Scrimmages are played at the end of each camp day. Staff to Player ratio of 1:10.

Falls Church Before/After Care

  • Before Care: 7:00 – 9:00 am
  • After Care: 3:00 – 6:00 pm

Softball Camp (ages 7-14)

Players are divided by age and skill level.

Weeks Offered:
June 26 – 30
July 17 – 21
July 31 – August 4
August 14 – 18

Time:
9:00 am – 2:00 pm
(before & after care available)

These camps are held in our premier Fairfax City indoor facility.

Available Before/After Care

  • Before Care: 8:00 – 9:00 am
  • After Care: 2:00 – 5:00 pm

SUMMER CAMP REFUND/SWITCH POLICY:  To cancel a registration, you must give a 14 day written notice to receive a refund or credit towards a future camp.  A 25% service charge will be assessed on each camp refund.  To transfer a registration, location or week, you must also give a 14 day written notice.  A $25 charge will be assessed for any request to move or switch camps.

Frequently Asked Questions

What should my player bring to summer camp?
Your player should bring their glove, hat/visor, lunch, water bottle, long pants for last day to practice sliding, bat and helmet (if they have one).

What does my player need for a lesson?
• Throwing/Fielding Lesson: Glove
• Hitting Lesson: Bat and Helmet (if they have one, otherwise they’ll be provided with one)
• Pitching Lesson: Glove and you must bring a Catcher (If under 18, catcher must wear full catcher’s gear)
**ALL LESSONS MUST WEAR SNEAKERS – NO CLEATS ALLOWED IN FACILITY**
